Day 2- Week of Prayer & Fasting

In this week of prayer and fasting, we align ourselves with the theme “Lord, fill this temple with fire and glory.” The promises of God and the transformative power of His glory resonate as we come together for evening revival services, seeking divine intervention and experiencing the weight and brightness of His presence. May this month unfold with the tangible manifestation of God’s glory, as we navigate through the week with prayer, fasting, and a steadfast pursuit of His divine presence. Hallelujah!

The Word Of God by Apostle Dr. Paul Gitwaza

When the glory of God descends, humility blankets all, and every knee bows in reverence before His magnificence. The mercies of God are boundless and eternal, with no discernible end. Offering sacrifices invariably invokes the presence of divine fire.

It’s possible to walk within the realm of promises yet not fully inhabit them. Take Abraham, for instance; he dwelled in the land of Canaan, yet the land was not his. The promise was not fully realised. In anticipation, he began training young men, cultivating great commanders for his army, and meticulously strategizing to manifest the promises bestowed upon him.

From henceforth, the promises that have lingered in the atmosphere for too long invite you to forget about age and health conditions. Instead, connect with the prevailing atmosphere that surrounds you. Resist the urge to figure out the how or formulate plans for the fulfilment of these promises. Surrender to the divine energy and allow the manifestations to unfold in their appointed time.

Even though we worship the same God, our perspectives and methods in matters of faith may vary. It’s important to understand worldly terms, but our primary allegiance should be to live by faith in God.

In the process of preparing you for greatness, the Lord understands that you may face afflictions and temptations. He allows you to endure present pains as a part of the preparation for the elevated destination He has in store for you tomorrow. As you step into the promises of God, your name undergoes a transformation because your future is unlike anything you’ve experienced before.

David’s altar

The very same fire that existed in the time of David remains alive and active today. As you have willingly offered yourself, and the Lord has witnessed your sacrifice, that divine fire will ignite within your heart.

Elijah’s altar

May the fire of God consume every heavy stone, every speck of dust, and every burden that troubles you. Whenever the fire of God descends, it is accompanied by adoration, drawing people into a profound and transformative worship experience!

In the course of understanding the beauty, and Glory of God, our father expounded on the biblical concepts of Glory;

KAVOD (KABOD) – abundance, honour, glory, is derived from the word “KOBED,” which is rooted in “KABAD” meaning to be heavy. The glory of God is weighty. When the glory of God comes, there is a heaviness in the air. When you encounter the glory of God, diseases cannot resist; they disappear.

DOXA, meaning glory in Greek, encompasses approval, brightness, and majesty. When the glory of God envelops you, it signifies divine approval. The Israelites were distinguished from ordinary nomads by the Doxa of God resting upon them in the form of clouds.

In the realm of the spirit, wrapped in God’s glory, a cloud accompanies you, representing the weight and power of the KABOD. The words you speak carry significance and influence, drawing and attracting.

Moreover, Doxa signifies a good reputation and a good name. Those whom God graces with His glory are bestowed with both divine favour and an esteemed reputation.

Deliverance only happens when in the presence of the glory of God. To cast out a demon, you must be immersed in divine glory.

Three significant elements that usher in the glory of God are:

  1. Altar of Prayer: Uninterrupted and sincere prayer creates an altar where the glory of God can fill your heart, family, and church. As you pray without ceasing, the chains binding your life will be broken. (Acts 4:31)
  1. Altar of Praise: Manifesting the glory of God is closely tied to a lifestyle of praising Him. Through praise, everything opposing you is defeated in the glory of God. Miracles happen, and as you adore and worship, God delivers you. (2 Chronicles 20:21-22)
  1. Location: The importance of being in the right location cannot be overstated. Recognizing the significance of your spiritual position is crucial. Be mindful of where you offer your sacrifices; Moriah brings blessings, while the wrong location may result in sacrifices without reward. The glory of God has a designated location, and when you are in the right place, fire descends consistently.

Being in the correct location ensures that despite your background, evil forces flee away, and you experience deliverance. God has positioned you in a specific place, and remaining there brings forth abundance. Don’t miss the specific spot the Lord has blessed you with; stick to it for the continuous abounding of God’s glory in your life. (Genesis 22:2-4, Genesis 22:9-12, 1 Chronicles 21:10-30, 2 Chronicles 3:1)
