As we embark on the week of prayer and fasting in the month of February, within the Year of the Lord’s attention to His people, we welcome you with great enthusiasm and excitement. Gratitude fills our hearts as we reflect on the preceding month of January – a time dedicated to repentance, cleansing our hearts, fostering unity in the body of Christ, and empowering us to choose Him as our Master. It has been a month of restoration, reconciliation with one another, and the establishment of altars in our hearts, families, church, and nation. With anticipation, we eagerly look forward to the unfolding blessings in this new month, under the divine focus of the Lord on His people.
Prayer and Fasting in the “Month of The Fire”
The second month of the year, named The Month of The Fire, calls us to present our bodies as living sacrifices, inviting the divine fire of God to descend upon us and consume us on the altar. It is a unique period, unlike any other, during which the Lord is poised to fill the temple with His fire and glory, promising a transformative impact on our lives. Hallelujah!
Starting on Monday, February 5th, 2024, and concluding on Sunday, February 11th, 2024, our seven-day journey transpires daily from 6 AM to 6 PM. Embraced by the theme, “Lord, fill this temple with fire and glory.” This designated week holds special significance as we collectively invoke the presence of God’s fire and glory, following our heartfelt engagement in repentance, reconciliation, restoration, and the establishment of the altar in our hearts, families, church, and nation throughout the month of January.

2 Chronicles 7:1: “When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.”
During our week of prayer and fasting, evening revival services are scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a concluding service on Sunday starting at 4 PM. These services will be led by our esteemed father, Apostle Dr. Paul Muhirwa Gitwaza. Meanwhile, the usual lunch hour and morning services will continue as planned, and all activities will be broadcasted on OTV and ORadio, as well as on YouTube and Facebook platforms.

Throughout these 7 days of prayer and fasting, it is crucial to set aside personal time for fellowship, intercession, and the reading of the Word of God. This time is devoted to calling upon the fire and glory of God within the temple of your heart.
Revival Services
Starting from Tuesday evening, will be an opportunity to conclude your day of fasting in the divine presence, engaging in fellowship with the broader community at the Zion Temple Celebration Centre.
