An Overview of the Month of Fire

An Overview of the month of Fire

In the second month, designated as the Month of Fire in the year of The Lord’s attention to His people, we entered with great enthusiasm for the divine fire in the temple. This month has unfolded as a distinctive period where we offer our bodies as sacrifices, inviting the consuming fire of God to fill our temples with glory. It has been a momentous time for God to infuse our hearts with a fire that will resonate and shake the world. This unique opportunity has reignited the flames within us, leaving our hearts filled with testimonies and our lives forever changed by the transformative power of God’s fire.

What took place in the month of Fire?

Every week, every day and every hour counts before God as a result to his people as well. As the Authentic word ministries and Zion temple celebration, every week and down to every day count in this phase of repentance that ushers us into a divine revival in all areas of life , and we have been blessed to be throughout the month.

The week of “Offer your body as sacrifice and fire will come”.

As we find ourselves in the later part of this era, it is crucial to approach our responsibilities with excellence, recognizing that no future generation will rectify our actions. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ stands as the perfect sacrifice. It is crucial not to conform to the standards of this world. By offering our bodies as sacrifices, we invited the transformative fire of God. Jesus is the source of true confidence and life; in Him, we find our purpose and existence. Don’t be intimidated by those without Christ. Surrendering to Jesus is the key to escaping worldly trends and the relentless changes in technology. Our duty is to establish order and understanding in three key aspects: The Altar, The Sacrifice, and The Fire.

Reference scripture

1 Chronicles 21:26

And David built there an altar to the Lord and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called on the Lord, and He answered him from heaven by fire on the altar of burnt offering.

Romans 12:1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

In the context of your everyday life, with God’s help, present yourself as an offering to Him. This involves dedicating your routine activities; sleeping, eating, working, and daily movement to God. The essence of worship now is not about bringing external sacrifices but about becoming a living sacrifice. In this way, our entire being is offered to God, embracing what He does for us as the best form of worship.

The week of “Lord fill this temple with fire and glory”

The weight of God’s glory is profound. Experiencing the glory of God signifies acceptance and approval. Satan acknowledges us through the evident glory of God upon us. Just like the distinguishable cloud that marked the Israelites in the wilderness, the divine presence sets us apart. In this week of prayer and fasting, we earnestly seek the Lord to fill our temple with fire and glory. As God is fire, and His response to our prayers manifests in the form of fire.

When you are aligned with the Spirit of God, a divine cloud accompanies you wherever you venture. May the Lord lead you to experience His authentic glory. Stay close to it, for there are three factors that bring down the glory of God: the Altar of prayer, the Altar of praise, and your location.

Reference scriptures

2 Chronicles 7:1: When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.

The Altar of Prayer, cultivating a continuous life of prayer, is where the Kabod (glory of God) manifests. Praise and worship create an Altar of Praise, leading to divine deliverance. Lastly, your Location matters significantly; remain steadfast in the specific place God has blessed you, for straying from it might mean missing out on the abounding glory of God in your life.

The week of “The fire that will shake the world”

After a week of prayer and fasting, a time for concentrating our bodies, souls and hearts to God, it was time for critical decisions that map out the course of our lives. The call to shake the world is not about physical bodies but about confronting the spiritual forces that govern systems and principalities. The fire within you is meant to be carried to places where it is needed. As a fire carrier, you are tasked with being a kindle of fire.

This week, under the guidance of our father Apostle Gitwaza, we delved into the profound teachings of the end times. We explored the anticipation of Jesus taking His Bride, the reign of the antichrist on earth, the salvation of 144,000 Jews, the establishment of the millennial kingdom, the resurrection of the dead, the defeat of Satan and his demons, and the ultimate final judgment. Each phase was meticulously explained with the aid of scripture to provide a comprehensive understanding.

Revelation 8:3-5: 3 Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.

Ephesians 6:12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

In our exploration of the ten phases of prayer, we delved into the journey our prayers undergo before reaching God. However, it’s essential to recognize that not all prayers receive immediate answers. There are instances where God uses the apparent delay to prepare, instruct, and redirect our hopes toward Him, ensuring a more profound impact in His perfect timing.

To truly become a person of fire, engage in meaningful prayer, expressing what you hear, see, and believe through the power of prayer. Be more than just a speaker of empty words, and let the fire emanate from your prayers. Pastor Emma highlighted that the discussed fire surpasses a simple electric shock; it represents a potent force dwelling within a living individual. This enduring fire extends beyond the church, accompanying believers in all facets of life, including their homes and workplaces.

The week of “Rekindle the fire of God in you”

This was a special and blessed week indeed. It’s essential not to become stagnated on a particular stage. Instead, delve within, rekindle the intrinsic fire, and heed the inner voice propelling you towards the next chapter. Every season introduces challenges that serve as catalysts for personal and spiritual evolution. Recognize that God permits challenges not to hinder but to train and equip you for the unfolding seasons of life. Much like Moses was instructed to motivate the Israelites to move forward, there are instances where you need not solely rely on external intervention, learn that some challenges can be overcome not merely through prayer but by taking proactive steps. Don’t tether yourself when there’s no restraint; forge ahead with determination and faith.

2 Timothy 1:6: 6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

1 Timothy 4:14: 14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership

Pastor Emmanuel GBEREKPEE delivered impactful wisdom on fueling and maintaining the fire within. To stir your fire, face challenges directly; don’t evade them. Challenges act as a mirror, revealing the strength residing within you. Building up your faith is crucial in this process. Actively engage with the Word of God, as it fortifies your faith. When challenges arise, the foundation of faith you’ve established becomes the fuel that fans the flames. It’s a reminder not to forget the teachings received but to anchor ourselves in the enduring truths that withstand trials.

To root yourself in faith, essential steps were emphasized by Pastor Emmanuel. Firstly, it involves recalling and acknowledging the goodness, greatness, and faithfulness of God. Recognizing God’s unwavering faithfulness reinforces your trust in His promises. Secondly, reflecting on personal or others’ testimonies of God’s deeds serves as a powerful reminder that the same God who worked in the past is ever-ready to act again. It encourages believers to fan the flames of faith within. Lastly, surrendering oneself to be shaped through training and development is crucial. The process of cutting off unnecessary elements through training positions individuals in the right place, showcasing their true glory and value by addressing the specific needs they are designed to solve.

The week of “Time to be filled with the Holy Spirit”

Transitioning from one glory to glory, we stepped into a week dedicated to the infilling of the Holy Spirit. This week has unfolded as a remarkable journey of rediscovering and reconnecting with the transformative power of the Holy Spirit.

The promise of God dwelling among His people dates back to ancient times, beginning with Adam. Although this plan faced setbacks, numerous prophets continued to prophesy about it. The culmination of this promise unfolded during the disciples’ time, where they eagerly awaited its manifestation in a house. Despite their uncertainty, they persevered, resembling watchmen awaiting the dawn.

Like 120 individuals in Acts of Apostles who gathered in unity, bound together by their anticipation of heaven. In this shared expectancy, God took notice. A unique manifestation occurred—the wind blew, a symbol familiar to the disciples, followed by the arrival of fire. The Holy Spirit filled them, marking a transformative moment. Changes ensued, and the disciples began speaking in tongues. May God work similarly within you.

Reference scripture

Acts 2:1-4: 1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Pastor Gatungo emphasized that embracing the Holy Spirit, we find ourselves enveloped in divine protection and authority. The Spirit within us empowers and emboldens, providing the strength to transform anything misaligned with the Lord’s purpose. Like the Lion of the Tribe of Judah residing within, we carry the authority to alter processes and bring heavenly influence. Our calling is to proclaim Jesus and, filled with the Holy Spirit, a renewed thirst of seeking the Lord emerges, driven by the divine longing within us.

S4H (Save For Home)

The Save For Home project is primarily designed for individuals, especially youth, who do not currently own a home. Through this initiative, individuals can open an account with TC KIRA and save a fixed amount each month over a period of three years (36 months). By saving 195,000 Rwandan francs per month, participants will accumulate the necessary funds to acquire their own home. TC KIRA will provide the remaining amount after the three-year savings period, ultimately granting individuals the key to their new home.

The Save For Home project comprises three key components. Firstly, individuals are encouraged to save a fixed amount each month. Secondly, the savings are specifically designated for acquiring a house. Lastly, the project aims to generate employment opportunities, with in-house youth forming groups to participate in the construction of these homes. This holistic approach will address financial stability, housing needs, and employment generation within the community.
